African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD), CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform, and CIFOR-ICRAF have partnered to convene a Forum on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the World Agroforestry (ICRAF) campus in Nairobi, Kenya from 10:00 am to 12:30 noon which will mark the 2024 International Women’s Day (IWD) Celebrations.
The forum will involve high-level panel discussions and fireside chats with leaders of international research organizations, seasoned researchers, early-career women in science, research funders, and networks of women scientists, among other stakeholders.
The Forum will discuss the role of agricultural research for development institutions and researchers in accelerating progress for women to meaningfully contribute and benefit from agrifood systems.
