From droughts to flooding to wildfires to superstorms, the climate crisis is having profound effects on the livelihoods of people everywhere. However, when it comes to the lives of girls and women, there are disproportionate effects occurring. Research shows a rise in gender-based violence following catastrophic climate-related events, as well as an increase in s*x trafficking and child marriages. In this webinar, guest experts discuss the climate crisis and its impact on women and girls.
